Arrival to car-free Zermatt
You can access the town of Zermatt by train or by taxi. Zermatt is carfree and it is prohibited to drive into town. The town of Taesch does offer public parking and is located 4 kilometers from Zermatt. Private designated parking is assigned to permit holders only and the parking structures are situated at the town’s entrance. The local train company Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn offers a great and easy service to access Zermatt during a short 10 minute train ride and guests can also benefit from their plentiful parking spaces availabe in Taesch.

House Arctis – the exclusive location
Upon your arrival in Zermatt, we recommend that you take one of the local electric taxis to reach the house Arctis. Due to the House Arctis’s unique location, you will be able to enjoy fantastic views of the Matterhorn.The local town bus stop is within a 3 minute walking distance and runs throughout the day. Zermatt’s famous mainstreet is located 10 minutes from the House Arctis and offers a wide a selection of shops and restaurants.
